An empowered community which values and supports the health and wellbeing of the women and their families. Our goal is to deliver meaningful and targeted services for women and families to achiever positive health outcomes and sustainable wellbeing.
We are an independent, non-profit organisation run by women, for women and their families. We provide free or discounted health and wellbeing services in a safe, welcoming environment. We are committed to building a stronger community in which all woken and their families are able to realise their full potential without fear of prejudice, violence or abuse.

BANKSTOWN WOMEN’S HEALTH CENTRE has been
delivering quality health services to improve the lives of women in South Western Sydney.
We are governed by a dedicated and informed volunteer Board consisting of local women who have expertise in relevant fields such as education, finance, law, housing and health.
CEO Mariam Mourad, has led the Organisation to deliver quality health and wellbeing services for women.

Who can use your services?
Our services are open to women, female‑identifying people and carers living in Bankstown and nearby suburbs. Some programs have eligibility criteria—call us to check.
Are services confidential?
Yes. Our staff follow strict privacy rules. If safety concerns arise (for you or someone else), we will explain how we must respond.
How do I book an appointment?
Call (02) 9790 1378, use our online booking form, or ask your GP for a referral. Emergency? If you are in immediate danger call 000.
Are services free?
Many services are free or bulk‑billed. Some specialised programs may have small fees; we offer subsidies where possible.
